Good crafting in ARC Raiders isn't just about grabbing every shiny bit of salvage and running home. After a few rough raids, you'll start caring about the parts that actually move your build forward. Advanced Electrical Components are one of those parts, especially when you're trying to turn ARC Raiders BluePrints into gear you can rely on instead of another half-finished plan sitting in storage.
What Advanced Electrical Components Do
Advanced Electrical Components are refined electronic parts used in higher-tier crafting. Think circuit boards, wiring clusters, control units, and bits of old tech that still have some life in them. They're not as basic as plain Wires or standard Electrical Components, and that's why they matter. You'll need them for tools, upgrade modules, stealth gear, mobility items, and other pieces of kit that make raids feel less punishing. They're also useful because you can recycle them when you're short on smaller materials, though most players won't want to waste them unless they really have to.
Where Players Usually Find Them
If you're hunting these components, don't wander randomly and hope for the best. Go where electricity makes sense. Power rooms, generator sites, industrial buildings, utility corridors, and abandoned tech-heavy structures are usually better bets than open scrap zones. Look for lockers, machinery, control panels, crates, and anything that looks like it was once part of a working system. The catch is simple: these spots tend to attract trouble. ARC patrols often move through areas with decent loot, and other raiders know the same routes you do. Go in light if you're farming, or bring a proper weapon if you plan to stay and clear the place.
Crafting Them Yourself
Finding Advanced Electrical Components is nice, but crafting them is what makes your supply steady. Once you've unlocked Refiner Level II, you can turn lower-tier materials into the parts you need. The recipe is straightforward: three Wires and two Electrical Components. That's not too painful, especially if you already loot electronic zones on most runs. A good habit is to keep a small reserve of Wires instead of spending them all on quick crafts. It feels annoying early on, but later you'll be glad you didn't burn through everything for minor upgrades.
Best Uses For Your Stock
These components show up in more recipes than players expect. The Raider Hatch Key is a good example, since it opens access to hidden areas and extra loot chances during raids. The Power Rod is another important craft, often acting as a stepping stone for more advanced equipment. Then there's the Snap Hook, which helps with movement and positioning when a fight turns messy. Stealth-focused players will want to look at the Photoelectric Cloak, too. On top of that, Advanced Electrical Components are used in Mk. 3 modules such as Combat Flanking, Combat Aggressive, Tactical Healing, Tactical Defensive, Looting Cautious, and Looting Survivor. That's a lot of demand from one material.
Final Thoughts
Advanced Electrical Components are worth treating like a priority resource, not spare junk. Farm electrical sites when your backpack has room, recycle unwanted tech when it makes sense, and upgrade your Refiner as soon as you can. If you're planning builds around stronger ARC Items, keeping a healthy stack of these components will save you time, stress, and more than a few wasted raids.
